Chrono trigger Was DA SHIT!

Nice job, i have to give a ten, because hearing that song go on while i had to go where i needed to go was just straight up annying.
Anyway the song itself was good, grwat in fact, but it needed some effects.
Good job, and i give a 10!

Xayro responds:

Duly noted for when I do an original DnB song. Thanks for the good review!

Wow

So this is house?
I never actually clicked on it, i was always stuck in dance.
Pretty cool beat, but progresses a little to slow.
I think that you should into that.
I really dont understand how house is supposed to sound, so i am reveiwing this song on qualifications.
Sorry if a low score was my fault.

MmmCake responds:

thanks man, its all good :D

60 Patterns?

So thats how many it takes for a song to sound as good as this.
really cool, but im wonderin wat was the lead synth.

Chimy727 responds:

Yep.
it could take more and be better, but i worked on it soooo much and im done!
some songs have over 100 patterns! :O
the main synth was pretty much a custom v-station lead and supa dupa was the big one on the chorus...
thanks for the review man!
:D

Not your castle

MY CASTLE!
Lol, but this song is very chill, great for a final boss in Final Fantasy.
Very spacey.
Yeah i know i suck at reviewing ambient, but im so used to trance and dance.

Semaphore responds:

thanks for your support =)

Hmm

Very relaxing( and you know that isnt my style)
I see why all your trance songs rock.
Has alot of emotion in it, i can tell.
Very good, so i give 10/10 and a 5/5

Semaphore responds:

genres are not important for me rather the feeling a song give ;)

thank you very much Darki ^^

Happy hardcore!

Loved it!
But the switching of the synths really screwed me up.
I think that to keep the song balanced, you should have all the synths in the same melody at the end.
just my opinion though. Really good song.
Oh yeah almost forgot.
The part "tell your friends" should really be changed into something that would go with the title of the song.

IceMasterDlux responds:

Thanks for reviewing man! I don't know...I really like the "tell your friends" though! But I see what you mean by having it fit the title, good point. Anyhow, thanks a ton for the input, my awesome fan! God bless!

pretty chill

Loved every aspect of it, but the drums had a little too much power for the song to handle. Thats the only con. Pretty chill. oh yeah almost forgot. At some parts in the song, it didnt sound leveled right. Overall 8/10, but because its you, 9/10

DreamEater responds:

i totally agree man, I've actually been considering doing a second version of this song just to clean the drums and bass up a little.

thanks for the "spot on" review mate

i didnt zerobomb this

Because this is a good remix that,in my opinion, Made the original look like crap compared to this song(im not saying that the original wasnt crap isnt the first place). God, i hate hip hop songs that have no apparent meaning to them. They prove a point though. Anyone that likes that certain hip hop artist are clueless, have no creativity, or are fakin it for there friends.
Anyway the song was good, but the lyrics being to loud drowned out the rest of the song a little. The melody was good, but the lyrics, no matter how well u put them together, will never sound right for a dance song.
The synth was good, and the bass was perfect. If you used FL studio, then wat was the lead synth u used?

Xayro responds:

Both leads used were made in z3ta+, pretty basic stuff. Yeah, I used FL. The vocals were mainly because it was a terrible hollow'd out acapella to start with.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Do you ever seem to fail me?

I said that to only one other NG artist, semaphore. He was, no still is my idol.
This song is so great that this song deserves this comment.
Anyway the melody was common and repetitive, but thats one of the reasons i love it.
You really shoudnt have eq'ed the kick, because the regular one u use was cool.
This song does go well with the eq'ed kick u used, but the kick didnt sync well.
Overall, this song has potential, but hasnt reached it yet. I no im not in a position to comment like this, since my music sucks, but hey, NG says constructive criticism

Catstuffer responds:

Thanks for critiquing! I do appreciate quality feedback. I only slightly increased the kicks overall volume in this one. Very slightly. I don't think you would have liked it any better before the change either. I agree that a cleaner subwoofer kick would have gone in better than my somewhat flat kick that sounds like dropping a backpack full of textbooks onto carpet... I'll try to work my kick issues out for my next project (September likely, as I am away until then)

Thanks for reviewing! :D Much appreciated

YES!! FUCKING YES!

Normally im calm when i hear a good jumpstyle, but this takes the cake.
I loved the fact that jump style kick wasnt that heavy on the bass, but needed more power behind it, and the bass itself needed more volume.
Loved it, but those things hindered it.

Xayro responds:

Hah, sorry. I've (ironically) never been very good with powerful dance kicks/bass. I'm slowly moving towards Drum'n'Bass, Liquid Jazz, and various forms of Synthetic/Acoustic Rock. However, I'm still trying to pump out decent dance tunes.

If I ever do a professional version of this track, I'll fix up those complaints. I agree on the kick's power.

Thanks for the 10! And I'm glad you enjoyed it.
